IPVanish VPN
I first heard about IPVanish from a friend who travels a lot, and he kept saying it’s “fast and doesn’t make things complicated.” That’s pretty much what convinced me to try it. Setting it up was simple — download, open it, pick a server, and you’re already protected. No weird settings unless you actually want to play with them.
They have way more servers than I expected. You definitely won’t use all of them, but it’s nice having options. Switching between locations is quick, and most of the time the speed feels normal. A few servers can be slower, but nothing that makes the internet unusable. I could watch videos, browse social media, and even make calls without any trouble.
The important part — privacy. IPVanish hides your real IP and encrypts everything, so your provider or random trackers can’t follow what you’re doing. There’s also a feature that helps disguise VPN traffic, which is handy on sites that try to block VPN users. I’m not super technical, but it seemed to work fine.
One thing I really like is the unlimited devices. I have my phone, laptop, and tablet all connected at the same time. The kill switch and built-in protection against sketchy websites are also nice to have, especially when using airport or café Wi-Fi.
It’s not a flashy VPN. It’s just simple, steady, and gets the privacy part right — which is all I needed.
